Here She Comes... :

Roses, orchids, lilies, and even weeds. Parasol makes mention of flowers throughout many of her songs as they each evoke meaning. Here, the lily represents innocence (the first release) and lilies are known to be the May birth flower (Parasol's birth month). As the flowers most often associated with funerals, lilies symbolize that the soul of the departed has received restored innocence after death. Here it comes...

Here Comes Misery I

At night indifference is held in high rank
Calling the darkness with her heart cold and blank
Calling the darkness and caressing the moon
And beating my recklessness right into you

Here comes misery, here she comes
Black birds circle the air above
Here comes misery, here she comes
Black birds circle the air above

I am better than the best of man
And stronger than ten
You see a mountain, gonna climb the mountain again
You see a mountain and she's kissing the stars
And tearing my carelessness in right into your tender heart

Here comes misery, here she comes
Black birds circle the air above
Here comes misery, here she comes
Black birds circle the air above

Baudelaire

We have beds
And couches on which to lie
Flowers surround us
Under the finest sky

Then one evening
Made of rose and mystic blue

We have beds
And couches on which to lie
Flowers surround us
Under the finest sky

Of Thunder & Light

Time to try a new land
Stranger come waltzing through
Drink, drink, whiskey in my hand
Tried my hand out on you
Years before I stared at those thunder cloud skies
And those thunder clouds told
of the road before me
Then the thunder crashed and the lightening struck throughout

And it lit up the night. And it lit up the night
And it lit up the night. And it lit up the night

Letters were written and never sent
All for hellos never said
Burn, burn, burn me good
So I’m a waltzing away from you
Years before I stared at those thunder cloud skies
And those thunder clouds told of the road before me
Then the thunder crashed and the lightening struck throughout

And it lit up the night. And it lit up the night
And it lit up the night. And it lit up the night
